These weavings are made to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Each weaving is made using a resist dyed skein of yarn. These skeins are tied and dyed individually and are completely unique. The unique nature of the skein determines the pattern and distribution of the spots within the weaving. For this reason, the images here serve as representations with regards to the composition and distribution of the spots.

Each weaving is mounted to a birch panel frame using adhesive hook tape. The weaving can be easily removed from the frame without damaging the weaving if necessary.

I use cotton for the warp, and wool sourced from a Quebecois mill for the weft. I use weak acid dyes to small batch dye the wool and ensure consistent colours from batch to batch. There may be some slight variation from weaving to weaving, colours as they are represented on your monitor may vary slightly from the actual weaving. The cotton warp is twined, secured with a pH neutral adhesive, and cut flush with the weaving before mounting to the frame.

The weaving measures approximately 12.5” by 12.5”. The depth of the birch panel frame is 1.5”.
